Zambales Association Family Christmas Party 2023

Ayna Apo, Christmas la ngarud! The Zambales Association members and their guests did not let the bad weather stop them from coming to celebrate. They came carrying a dish to share, some of which were way too traditional—that is, food and dessert recipes that you cannot purchase in any local restaurant. Homemade, pare! These recipes were passed down from generation to generation and had an endless flavor. Ang sarap! Naimas latta! Haha!

In addition to what we previously mentioned, there were several highlights throughout the day. A group of volunteers, including Joe Aranas, who roasted the beef, Larry Sahagun who reserved and set up the party hall, Tom Cecil, who impressed everyone with his fighting gear, and Fredie Manglicmot who thought of every last detail in food preparation. The women were responsible for most of the preparatory work. Walang hangang utos, pare!

We have a new superhero among us, Lorna Fuertes. She has been moving around the party hall, taking pictures, giving raffle tickets for prizes that she personally donated, playing the role of a witch, sweeping the floor, and pushing the vacuum cleaner at the end. She truly is a super person with her flowing Mrs. Claus cape.

We sincerely hope that those who stayed home due to weather or illness will soon feel a sense of well-being. Meanwhile, please enjoy the pictures that document the day's happenings. We missed your company.

Our president, Joe Alvior, said that the event was a team effort. By involving everyone, we can achieve anything. Thank you for making Christmas 2023 a memorable experience for everyone. We wish you a joyful New Year!
